Meeting the Vendors

As we walked down the first row there where all the Non-Profit Tables - they ranged from the Pet Loss Professionals Alliance to our friends at Audubon International and of course the Green Burial Council.

Then we began to work our way through the caskets, urns, and motor driven hearses, cremation jewelry booths to find people that were interested in making a visit to a cemetery an enjoyable experience that brings them back to walk, talk, and think.

We found such people, but we had so little time to fully explore what it is they have that will assists us that we ask you to take a look also at some of the ideas we share.  We ask you have to help us make Prairie Creek a living example of a new way to do a natural event.

So what are some new and different ways to accomplish our mission. (All pricing mention by me is guess work at this time.)

First up is Cemetek  As you can see this is a young company first time at the annual Expo.  The software presented appeared clean and in a simple format that appears adaptable and fairly priced.
We meet the founder David Stevens, and he very much would like us to work with us.

Next up is TombFinder also a first timer at Expo.  There link takes you to a great page that explains much of the benefits of this program.  This business was created by SaasSoft.com.  As you can see the web site is very informative.  Now as I understand it using TombFinder would have some upfront mapping cost in addition to the software cost.

Last one for the day is FuneralOne  on surface it doesn't appear that it would direct people to the cemetery site, but it is driven by the way people think.  Therefore, the cemetery location would just be a map link in the Tribute Pages we create.  Joe Joachim is a young adaptable software designer who is the founder of the firm and would like to explore our possible use.
