SPRING 2013
Dear Allan and Sharon,

Spring is in the air and the wild flowers are blooming in the prairie lands. Hikers, walkers, and bikers are enjoying the nature trails linking Prairie Creek to other conservation lands.

Two new videos are featured below, one from Reuters News Service and one a TEDx Video featuring our friend Dr. Billy Campbell.
For those that have been asking for benches at grave sites for meditation and rest we are pleased to announce a Memorial Bench program that features local woods made by a local craftman, Bill Flusche.

Dr. Billy Campbell, with the help of his wife Kimberly, founded Memorial Ecosystems in 1996 and developed the world's first conservation burial ground, Ramsey Creek, in 1998. He has worked closely with land conservation groups and others to develop seven other projects. Billy and his wife Kimberly were of great assistance to Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery when we started and they are great friends.
Memorial Benches now available
Bill Flusche has designed and priced for us 4 very unique sitting benches--benches that can be placed near selected grave sites for a comfortable, relaxed reflection time for visitors. These benches will be made of beautiful local reclaimed wood that should remain solid for several decades. Patrons may wish to choose a lettered carving for the bench. Displayed below are the four drawings done by Bill's partner Leslie Green.
